Fear in Alsatian style!
Many of us are familiar with the tarte flambée (or flammeküche), but do you know the manala? It's a man-shaped brioche that we eat to celebrate Saint Nicholas (December 6). In the story, Saint Nicholas saves children who have been cut up into pieces in a salt cellar (to be eaten), so to celebrate him we eat brioches in the shape of children. Sounds about right, doesn't it? Anyway, this manala doesn't really appreciate being chewed! 😂
This Alsatian specialty will add a touch of fright to any of your things: notebook, computer, water bottle, pouch, binder, phone (the case, not the screen)... And if you don't dare stick anything anywhere, you can do like me and blu-tack it to the wall while waiting to find it a special place on a gadget.
Made in France, this Manala (or Mannala, Mannele, Menele or... Anyway) will accompany you in your distress and make you want to scream. 😅 High risk of tummy rumbling and needing to take a (big) break when it catches your eyes!
